ESCHEMA

- This adventure race will be completed as a team of 2 to 4 members.

- Each category will have a maximum time for the realising all route.

- During the time taken the team should get the highest possible score, thus determining the classification. In case of a tie score, will be taken into account the spended time.

- The score of each control will be the first number of the control number marked on the map. Each control will have a different score, determined by the course setter. The team must look to establish a strategy for the realization of the route.

- In Raid d'Aventura El Catllar will be the next classes:

ÈLIT, AVENTURA, OPEN and FAMILIAR

Inside ÈLIT, AVENTURA and OPEN, will be the next classes:

MALE (all team members are men)

FEMALE (all team members are women)

MIXED (one or two team members are women)

- If the team exceeds the maximum established time limit it will penalize as follows:

- The raid will be divided into sections. In each section, will be one or more adventure sports discipline. With a map for every section and mandatory material for the team.

- The order of the sections will be established by the organization. The team may decide to skip a section: it simply will be added up the points they could get.

- The cartography will be adapted to adventure racing competition, and prepared exclusively for this race. They will be delivered in the starting time.

- Qualified and experienced instructors will ensure the safety of participants.

- All riders will be insured for possible accidents and must follow the rules of the competition, regulation, safety and indications of the organization. They must be familiar and comply with traffic rules as all activities will realized in free itinerary and open traffic.

- All team membres, whether the team leave the competition or finish, are required to go through the finish line.

During the competition will be a surprise testing control to verify all the required equipment.

SPORTIDENT timing

Timing will be done with the system Sportident. Each runner must bring tied with a ribbon given by the organization. Who should not have rented it for a price of 5€. The ID card will serve as a deposit.

Copa Catalana Raids FCOC 2017 rules

The competition will be subject to official regulation of the Catalan Raids Cup FCOC 2017.

Reasons for disqualification

- Do not follow the directions of the organization.
- Running routes or areas specified as prohibited on the map.
- Using fot navigations more tools than map and compass.
- Show anti-social behavior or not respect for nature, cleanliness also in private property.
- Exceeding 30:01 minutes after the close time limit.
- Separate up more than 20 meters between members of the same team.
- Abandonment of one of the team members.
- Do not carry any item of equipment required.
- He left part of the equipment during the race or throw rubbish to the natural envioronment.
- Do not provide relief to those who ask.
